Sean Lock fans have just discovered resurfaced comments the late comedian made about , who has stepped back from after allegations of sexual misconduct, which he denies.
While appearing on 8 Out of 10 Cats in a hilarious segment back in January 2020, the comedian, who tragically passed away a year later in August 2021, sorted through a list of celebrities to decide whether they deserved to be considered national treasures.
As he shifted through his list, Lock showed a picture of Gregg and jokingly teased him for wearing a hairnet in a factory despite being bald.
He said: “Gregg came close because I like him because he wears a hairnet even though he’s bald. He goes to a crisp factory, and puts on a hairnet. What, is he worried some baldness will get in the crisps?”
“I like him because he’s got no sense of irony or humour. He was very close to getting through, but… I’ve met him.” The three-word response had fans roaring in laughter.
