Sarah Ferguson has jetted off on a Christmas trip to Europe
Sarah Ferguson has gone on a Christmas trip ahead of the festive season, just as her ex-husband, ‘s issues with King Charles continue.
The Duchess of York, who lives at Royal Lodge with King Charles’s brother, took to this week to update her followers on her latest trip – a getaway in Austria’s capital, Vienna.
Australia is well known for its Christmas markets and festive cheer.
Fergie, as she is known to family and friends, posted a video with a caption: “Heading off to Vienna to kick start Christmas. Absolutely love this time of the year and seeing all the joy on peoples faces.”
In the video, the duchess can be heard saying: “It’s Monday and I decided that we need to get the Christmas spirit going.

It comes as her former husband is still in a dispute over his living situation in Windsor.
Andrew has been living in the 30-room property after having been granted a 75-year lease agreement in 2003 by the Crown Estate.

But his reported struggle with the upkeep has caused for the monarch, who wants him to move to a much smaller home.
The King is said to have axed Andrew’s private security and £1million allowance, however, the duke managed to secure funds for the upkeep of the mansion.
In the latest update, despite their differences, the King reportedly has made a peace offering to his brother, as Andrew is expected to attend the annual Christmas party with the rest of the royals.
