Princess Kate makes huge decision about Christmas plans after gruelling cancer battle

will be spending Christmas at Sandringham with her husband, three children and the rest of the Royal Family this year after a difficult 11 months.

However, while she is still returning to royal duty gradually, the Princess of Wales is now reportedly set to spend the festive season with the Royal Family at Sandringham, hosted by the King.

the news was confirmed by royal sources, who said the King – who has also been undergoing treatment for cancer this year – is “delighted” to have William and Kate, along with their three children Prince George, 11, Princess Charlotte, nine and Prince Louis, six, with him for Christmas.

The festivities will involve a Christmas dinner, Christmas Eve celebrations and the Christmas Day church service.

A Palace source said: “This year’s service provides a moment to reflect upon the importance of love and empathy, and how much we need each other, especially in the most difficult times of our lives. The service will shine a light on individuals from all over the UK who have shown love, kindness and empathy towards others in their communities.”
