I’m A Celebrity fans admitted that their ‘skin was absolutely crawling’ during a ‘pure evil’ Bushtucker trial before a camp first.
Radio 1 host Melvin Odoom and professional dancer Oti Mabuse volunteered out of all the campmates to take on the latest trial. They managed to achieve something none of the other famous faces achieved – and won maximum stars.
The public were not voting for who they think should take on the trial dubbed The Tanks of Torture as they are instead deciding their favourite ahead of the first exit of the series.
Viewers back home were stunned at their calm performances as they had to contend being submerged in water. They also had containers on their heads where more critters were added into.
Viewers of the ITV reality series were left amazed thinking that the tank was enough before spiders were added to the helmets.

Ant and Dec explained that the pair would be inside a giant tank. The celebrity on the left would have to move the stars along the wire to the celebrity on the right hand side, who would have to move them along the wire and into a star bag.
They had 12 minutes to try and release all 12 stars, but as their body tanks of water were gradually filled with the likes of mud crabs, eels, crocodiles and water dragons, while their head bubbles were filled with spiders and snakes.
Celebrating their achievement, Ant said: “You can now call yourselves the new king and queen of the Bushtucker Trial!”
It makes it the first time a celebrity or celebrities have won all stars. Fellow radio DJ Dean McCullough has faced the most trials but uttered the words I’m a celebrity get me out of here twice.
Fans at home were just as impressed as one viewer posted on social media: “Melvin is so humble. I loved the way they smashed that trial and he didn’t try to overshadow Oti. He was just happy and enjoyed the way she presented the stars. They made a great team.”
Another added: “Absolutely buzzing for Melvin and oti.. Well done you both you done amazing.”
While one fan said as the spiders were added: “That is pure evil” while another said: ” My skin is literally crawling because of these damn spiders.”
The public vote has now turned to choosing your favourite campmate in the jungle. Ant and Dec revealed live on the air the first celebrity to leave the series.
