The holiday season is approaching, and with it comes the opportunities for getting dolled up for the festivities. From a family gathering to work functions, galas and New Year’s Eve parties, we all want to look our best and step up our at-home DIY hair repertoire. Here’s how one curl set can transition into 4 easy-to-style hair looks this season.
What you’ll need:
1.5- to 2-inch curling iron or hot roller set
4-5 metal hair clips
Heat protection spray
Paddle brush
Wide tooth comb
Hair spray
2-4 bobby pins
Step 2: Section off the top half of the hair into a rectangular section from the front to the crown of the head.
Step 3: Curl the hair away from the face in a horizontal formation and clip each subsection in place at the base with a flat hair clip (no more than 5 rolls)
Step 4: Curl the rest of the hair in a vertical direction and away from the face.
Retro Glam Bombshell
Half Up Glam
If you like accessories, a half-up hairstyle is always a nice option because it offers a mix of effortless elegance. Simply brush out the hair with a paddle brush to smooth out the curls then secure the sides of the hair in place at the back of the head using a few bobby pins. Finish the look with a pretty bow clip (my fave), an embellished barrette or a simple claw clip.
