allegedly made “racist” remarks about an Asian MasterChef contestant, a former staff member has claimed.

The broadcaster, 60, will step away from presenting while allegations of historical misconduct are investigated.

In fresh allegations, it has emerged that Wallace allegedly said “me so horny” and “me sucky sucky” and also made “Kung fu noises” during filming of the hit cooking show in 2017.

The former staff member, who worked on the show at the same time, claimed that Wallace would make the remarks shortly after the contestant walked off set.

According to , the staff member in question submitted a formal complaint to the about Wallace’s “racist” comments.

It comes after allegations of inappropriate sexual comments were made by 13 people, including Kirsty Wark, who worked with Wallace across a range of shows over a 17-year period from 2005 to 2022.

A statement from Banijay UK, the production company of MasterChef, said: “This week the received complaints from individuals in relation to historical allegations of misconduct while working with presenter Gregg Wallace on one of our shows.

“Whilst these complainants have not raised the allegations directly with our show producers or parent company Banijay UK, we feel that it is appropriate to conduct an immediate, external review to fully and impartially investigate.

“While this review is under way, Gregg Wallace will be stepping away from his role on MasterChef and is committed to fully co-operating throughout the process.”

The presenter allegedly wandered into the MasterChef studio “completely naked” apart from a “sock pulled over his penis” before throwing himself into a “silly dance”, a report claims.

He is also accused of mimicking a sex act in front of a member of the show’s production staff who was kneeling down to clean his trousers during filming, it is alleged.

The presenter is also accused of making “disgusting sex-related jokes”, including one about an “aunt” while tasting a contestant’s dish during the show.

He also allegedly took his top off in front of a female worker and said he wanted to “give her a fashion show”, while also making comments about his sex life to others.
