Strictly Come Dancing star JB Gill ‘to bow out before final’ as he’s dealt huge blow

As the competition on Strictly Come Dancing heats up, one celebrity is now facing the risk of being eliminated in the quarter-finals.

Last week, fans had to say goodbye to , who was eliminated alongside his professional partner Michelle Tsiakkas. Now, JLS singer is in danger of leaving this weekend, according to the latest betting odds.

John Hill from said: ” started the series as the favourite to lift the Glitterball Ball Trophy, but the latest odds suggest he may miss out on the final.”

” tops the elimination this weekend but it would be no surprise to see in the dance-off too,” added Hill.

JB and his new dance partner Lauren Oakley wowed the judges with their Charleston to Yes Sir! That’s My Baby by Firehouse Five Plus Two.

During the performance, JB executed a daring move, flipping Lauren upside down and spinning her in a cartwheel. The pair impressed with their quick footwork and impressive lifts, earning a near-perfect score of 39 out of 40 from the judges.

The star, 37, has come a long way since joining the show. He was formerly paired with dance partner Amy Dowden before she was forced to bow out of the competition due to an injury.

However, the 34-year-old has now been supporting Gill from the studio.

Amy could be seen watching and cheering the couple on from the studio balcony alongside her fellow professional dancers during the programme, wearing a pink sparkly dress. She had previously said she hoped to return to the dance floor in some capacity after a couple of weeks of rest.

Earlier this month, Dowden marked the first anniversary of finishing her chemotherapy treatment with an emotional post on social media. In her message, she thanked those who supported her through the “good, the bad, and the ugly.”

Amy discovered a lump in her breast just before heading off for her honeymoon in the Maldives with her husband, fellow dancer Ben Jones. After being diagnosed with stage three breast cancer, she underwent a mastectomy and chemotherapy and in February, shared the good news that tests revealed “no evidence of disease.”

The Caerphilly-born dancer has openly documented her battle with cancer and her experience living with Crohn’s disease, sharing her story on various shows.
