STRATUSFACTION: Trish Stratus wows in one-piece for Inside Fitness cover

WWE Hall of Famer Trish Stratus is delivering some sweet Stratusfaction on the latest cover of Inside Fitness.

The Toronto-native went back to her career roots as a fitness model by posing in a black bodysuit with high bottoms and plunging neckline on the cover of the magazine’s current edition, which hits newsstands on Friday.

The 48-year-old Stratus shared two images from the magazine photoshoot on social media, noting it’s been more than a decade sine she’s been featured on the cover of Inside Fitness.

“Fourth time’s a charm! It’s been a minute since there’s been some Stratusfaction on the cover of Inside Fitness — 12 years to be exact! But here we are!

“Honoured to be your covergirl and work with the Dream Team again! These photos literally blew my mind… can’t wait for you guys to see!”

Stratus’ latest cover comes as she prepares to mark 25 years as a professional wrestler.

Before wrestling, Stratus became a fitness model while she was a student at York University. Her modelling work caught the eye of the then-World Wrestling Federation (now WWE), which signed her to a contract.

Stratus received in-ring training from Ron Hutchison, who had trained the likes of fellow Canadian wrestlers Adam Copeland, Christian Cage, and Gail Kim.

The Torontonian made her debut in 2000 as a manager for wrestlers Test and Albert. Stratus won the first of seven Women’s Championships at the 2001 Survivor Series a year later.

Stratus retired from full-time competition in 2006 after beating Lita for her seventh world championship at WWE Unforgiven in 2006 in Toronto.

Since her retirement, she opened a yoga studio, became an actor and television host, and served as a judge on Canada’s Got Talent.

The blond bombshell has returned to WWE periodically part-time, with her most recent match in September 2023 when she battled Becky Lynch in a steel cage match at WWE Payback.
