The Misfits 19 fight between Dawood Savage and Deji had a farcical ending on Thursday night as the defeated boxer fell to the floor with his final action of the fight seconds after he had been punched. The contest ended in the early stages of the third round as Deji eased to victory.

Savage and Deji took to the ring as part of the undercard ahead of the eagerly-anticipated clash between AnEsonGib and Slim Albaher.

Nine separate fights had been scheduled on the undercard, but the bout between HSTikkyTokky and Masai Warrior was cancelled at the last minute.

Deji had only won two of his six career fights ahead of his showdown with Savage but was the overwhelming favourite as his opponent had lost all six of his previous fights.

The Briton, who is the brother of KSI, walked onto Simon Says by Pharoahe Monch and appeared to be laser focused on the task at hand.

He hurt his opponent with a huge left hook a minute into the opening round and held his position in the centre of the ring as Savage danced his way around the outside of the ring.

Deji seemed reluctant to throw punches in the second round, which left his entourage fuming as they told him: “What are you doing? Go to f***ing war, man.”

At the start of the third round, Savage hit the canvas after being caught by an uppercut. But he was allowed to continue by the referee. Deji was then forced to duck out the way of a series of punches as his rival attempted to retaliate.

Deji then caught Savage again in the temple area as he illustrated his desire to throw punches. And, bizarrely, Savage allowed a few moments to pass before falling to the ground.

After the fight, Deji insisted he recognised as early as the first round that he was “levels” above Savage and added: “I feel like that performance was really weak.”

KSI then climbed into the ring and teased a fight in 2025 before performing a U-turn and declaring he intended to do “what’s best for the business” by being “the best CEO there is”.
