“Better than a Dyson. I previously used a Dyson that my roomie owned and loved that, but now that she and I no longer live together I needed to get my own vacuum. I couldn’t afford a Dyson and was looking for a reputable brand with multiple attachments, anti tangle brush head, charging mount for the wall, and decent battery run time. The plus of the pet and allergen was a bonus. After moving into my new place, I’ve used it a ton. It moves really well, suctions everything up, and has all the attachments to get the couch and baseboards. Actually one attachment fits the baseboard perfectly – I found this out when my hanging plants fell and I had to vacuum the soil. The tank holds a ton, and easily comes apart to clean all pieces unlike Dyson where dirt gets trapped and clogs it up. The battery lasted 2 days before I needed to charge it. And the color is pretty too.” — Brianna Cabral
“I don’t usually gush over things…especially vacuums, but sometimes you just gotta leave a review! […] Let me tell you my expectations were far surpassed with this little vacuum. It’s very quiet for the amount of suction it has, incredibly efficient…I have used it almost exclusively on “low suction, max minutes “ mode and it does just fine. I imagine high suction mode will pull your socks off your feet😆. It does EVERYTHING faster. I’m talking shave 45 minutes off your whole house type stuff. It will do couches/hardwoods/tile/trim/ceilings etc. It’s so lightweight that you barely notice it in your hand, and the swivel on the main sweeper is so generous you can literally make the head turn part way back on itself…like hard right angles and more when trying to reach nooks and crannies. What a great package. Multiple heads are included which can be attached to the pole OR the hand unit…. So you can do anything you want basically. “This vacuum is amazing! I’m constantly battling pet hair, crumbs from my child, and grass clippings daily. This vacuum has made life so much easier. It’s my first cordless stick vacuum, but I’ve used a Dyson before at work. And honestly, I think the Bissel is better. You don’t have to hold in the button, it picks up so much, and the battery lasts pretty long for what I need to do. I love that it has the docking station. I haven’t had any issues with its performance. I do try to clean the filter regularly.” — Micheo2589
“I had a stick Dyson for years and it seemed like I was fixing it more than using it. It always got stuck when I tried to empty it and changing heads was very stiff. So 2 weeks ago I’d had enough and dumped it in the trash. After reading a ton of reviews on different cordless vacuums I settled on this Bissell and I absolutely love it. It’s easy to empty, easy to charge, it has high speed and low speed and I don’t have to keep my finger on the power button to run it. It’s not heavy or clunky and using it is so easy. I am super happy with it.” — Maggie
“I really wanted a cordless Dyson or other high end battery powered vacuum, but did not have the budget. I went with this bissell model and it has blown away my expectations. Excellent suction power and the battery life is actually pretty impressive if you keep it in the mid range power. Easy to change out tools and use on stairs, couches, etc. I do love the turbo mode for intense pet hair removal on our living room rug, door mats, and dog bed. It doesn’t last long on the high suction (maybe 10 min?) but WOW it pulls up a ton of dirt and hair, 100% worth the trade off to have a convenient, cordless vacuum with high power suction. Of course this won’t be a perfect trade off for a big clunky plug in vacuum but if you need convenience with still excellent suction power this is 100% worth the money and a great deal compared to other high end models.” — Anelise Bergin
“There are many cordless vacuums on the market and I chose Bissell because of their foundation. As a kitten foster I love their foundation. Recently Bissell sponsored a free adoption event at my local shelter and two of my foster kittens found their forever home during the event! Amazing! Now for the review! It arrived yesterday afternoon and I’m already in love! It’s light weight and so easy to put together! The hanging/charging station was so simple to install! This vacuum cleans very, very well! The suction picks up cat litter and cat food like a champ! I’ve got 6 fosters right now and 2 cats of my own and I think cleaning is going to get a whole lot easier for me! Best 160 bucks I’ve ever spent! I bought this for hardwood, but I’ve ran it over a few spots on my carpet and I was impressed! It’s very quick and easy to turn it into a hand held vacuum for car cleaning and cleaning inside kitten play pens. 10/10!” — Lou
“I’ve been searching for a lightweight vacuum with adjustable suction. I have cheap very thin area rugs & runners (ruggable knockoff types) for our elderly pets to help with traction on top of hardwood floors. Our Dyson was too strong to vacuum these and I needed something with low suction but I also wanted to be able to use it on stairs and other areas as needed. The bissell has 3 suction options, the lowest worked best on the thin rugs without getting stuck while the stronger ones still did the job on regular rugs and other areas. I really love the lights on vacuum to help see better and it really did fit great under furniture. The accessories were something I didn’t think I would need but am glad they were included as I ended up using the vacuum for really tight spaces and to clean higher up (blinds, ceilings, tops of doors, etc.). As I test I tried to clean my entire home on a full charge and switch between suction as needed, but it only ran about 20 minutes and I only was able to do a good clean of about 3 rooms, then recharge and repeat. Given I really only wanted this for stairs and thin rugs it will do the trick for that on low with a full charge. Battery life if what I expected for a cordless. It is lightweight and I easily cleaned the stairs. To empty the bin was not as easy as I expected and I did have to take it fully off and open it to clean all the fur off the filter. It definitely picked up pet fur well and the bin emptying still was easy. I also used this to get fur off some chairs/sofa, again it got it all off and was lightweight enough/easy to maneuver! I would definitely recommend this vacuum if you are not looking for something that needs to run and high suction for over ~20 minutes. It’s perfect for what I need.” — Colleen
“I love this vacuum! I spent far too long researching vacuum options when I recently relocated to the US, and very happy with this choice! Great suction, reliable, easy to use and clean, very maneuverable, lightweight, not too noisy, etc. The only thing that I don’t love is the battery life. I’m in a small 1 bed + office apartment, with hardwood floors everywhere except the bedroom, and a fully-charged battery using the medium suction setting only just lasts long enough for me to clean my whole place. About 16-18 minutes, and then the battery is depleted. Since I’m in such a small place this is fine for me and I can still get my whole house vacuumed one one battery charge, but if you’re in a larger place that will be a struggle I’m sure, unless you’re happy to space out your vacuuming between charges or buy additional batteries. Suits my needs just fine and I love the performance and handling of this vacuum! But keep battery life in mind if you’re in a large home.” — Kindle Customer
“In the last 10 years I’ve had a Dyson, Shark, 2 off brand cordless vacuums and now this Bissell. I would say I’m an expert on the cordless stick vacuum, and this is top of the charts!! I have a dog that sheds, so I vacuum daily. I chose this vacuum because of the pet hair attachment and it doesn’t disappoint! It works as well as the Dyson, and is substantially better than the Shark, for less than half of what either of those cost. It came with a nice variety of attachments, as well as a wall charging mount. The vacuum is sturdy, portable, and very easy to use.” — A Hudson
