Seth Meyers flipped vows from Donald Trump’s new “border czar” Tom Homan right back on the president-elect.
Homan in a new interview “said he is putting together an extensive deportation plan and added that the priority will be ‘public safety threats, national security threats and fugitives,’” Meyers noted on Tuesday’s episode of “Late Night.”
Then came the gag:
“So it sounds like Trump’s gonna have to replace most of his cabinet.”
Trump’s Cabinet picks have been plagued by controversy, with former Rep. Matt Gaetz (R-Fla.) forced to abandon his attorney general nomination amid intensifying scrutiny of sexual misconduct allegations against him. Gaetz denies the claims.
