Prince Harry and Meghan Markle have not commented on their recent purchase
and may have stepped back from royal life in 2020 for however, they haven’t always necessarily stuck to this.
While they have been making their own money through deals, investments and business ventures, privacy hasn’t always been the couple’s top priority, as seen by the fact they invited cameras into their home for their docuseries Harry and Meghan in 2022.
The prince, 40, then exposed a number of private moments from his life in , ranging from previous drug-taking habits to exposing private family conversations.
However, one royal commentator believes this approach to privacy may be set to change for the couple, who have become increasingly tight-lipped over matters this year.

The couple still have fractured relationships with some royals
While the couple may now have invested in a European home, just over a year after they were , the new property is not believed to be a replacement of their home in Montecito.
Instead, it is believed the home will be a perfect holiday retreat for the family, with it being just a stone throw away from Harry’s cousin ’s Portugal pad.
It is also believed that by having a home just a few hours away from the UK by plane could help the prince see his family in the UK more often, despite having fractured relationships, as well as Prince Archie, five, and Princess Lilibet, three, to get to know some of their relatives.
