Amanda Holden caught up with King Charles at The Royal Variety Performance
Seemingly during an exchange at the show, a concerned Amanda took the opportunity to tell the King to rest up.
She shared her how the conversation went while discussing Adele’s new card game on Wednesday’s Heart Radio show.
Amanda expressed concerns for the singer’s hectic schedule, telling listeners: “I just want her to sit down now and have a rest bless her,” to which JK echoed: “Have a sit down.”
Recalling similar words she recently shared with the monarch, Amanda added: “That’s what I said to King Charles, ‘Go home and have a sit down’.”

Seemingly stunned by her admission, JK asked: “Is that what you said?,” to which she confirmed. “I love it,” he added with a laugh.
Revealing what else they discussed, she said after the show on Friday: “He was very sweet and I said, ‘We definitely earned our £1 that we got paid’.
“And he said, ‘Yes, they got you popping up in every single thing’. Then we mentioned Her Majesty and we wished her well and I gave condolences for the doggy.”
Queen Camilla didn’t attend the annual show alongside Charles due to her recent chest infection.
In a statement before the event, it was explained that Camilla “continues to experience some lingering post-viral symptoms” and is resting on doctors’ orders.
The update came just four days after Buckingham Palace announced that the Queen’s dog Beth, a Jack Russell terrier she adopted from Battersea Dogs and Cats Home in 2011, had died.
According to Amanda, who is an ambassador for the charity, Charles told her they had plans to get another dog.
She added: “I said, ‘Yes, but get it from Battersea please’.” Alan replied, joking: “Always working.”
