Joe Wicks’ healthy 30-minute pasta recipe for ‘perfect’ cosy winter meal

Winter is pretty much here to stay for a while and there’s only one way to get cosy – with .

Joe Wicks certainly knows a thing or two about health and fitness. The Body Coach, from Surrey, often shares mouth-watering , workout tips and an insight into his family life on where he boasts 4.8million fans.

Now for one of his latest posts, the 39-year-old showed off one of the top 3 most viewed recipes ever on his social media. And it’s safe to say, it’s got us drooling…

In the post, he starts by slicing the chicken breast through the middle to create a pocket where he can add chorizo, mozzarella and fresh basil before sprinkling salt, pepper and a dash of oil on the top.

Next he sticks it in the oven and boils some pasta for a few minutes. Once the pasta is cooled down, he throws a “big dollop” of green pesto and some cream cheese then gives it a good mix.

Once the chicken is cooked, you should get the juices from the chorizo and mozzarella in the pan. Then to plate up, you can put the chicken on top and then enjoy.

The video is very straightforward to understand so you should be able to whip up your very own version within minutes. Joe’s caption read: “This basil, mozzarella and chorizo stuffed chicken with creamy pesto pasta is one of my most viewed video recipes ever on .

“I cooked it in the oven on 180 degrees for 30 mins and it came out perfectly! The pasta I threw in a spoonful of pesto and cream cheese at the end. This is insane. Would you try this one at home?”

People were left gushing over the post as it garnered thousands of likes and comments. One said: “Oh give that to me!” Another added: “I made this last night. Was lovely.”

And a third commented: “We love this one!” Joe, also known as The Body Coach, is famed for his quick and easy meals. He first published his cookbook Lean in 15: 15-minute Meals which became the best-seller in 2015, having sold over 900,000 copies.

The dad-of-four even created a “90 Day Plan” with workouts and meals with portions tailored to the individual.
