Courtroom sketch artist Jane Rosenberg on Tuesday delivered a withering assessment of former New York City Mayor Rudy Giuliani’s conduct during a court hearing over the $148 million he owes for defaming two Georgia election workers.

The “decorum” of the former Donald Trump lawyer has “certainly changed from when I sketched him 44 years ago as a prosecutor,” Rosenberg told CNN’s Kaitlan Collins.

“He’s losing it,” said Rosenberg, whose depictions of Giuliani in court showed him furiously pointing and sat angrily with his arms crossed. “He was wild and I feel bad for anyone who represents him. He blurts out orders at his lawyers who are at the podium and he’s interrupting all the time.”

Giuliani was “yelling at his attorney” and “shouting orders” at him while he was talking to the judge, Rosenberg recalled. At one point in the hearing, Giuliani claimed he couldn’t pay his bills. But Rosenberg said, “I didn’t really feel sorry for him. I’m sure he’s managing OK, and these women who he’s defamed are not seeing much of it at all.”

Giuliani was in 2023 found liable for defaming poll workers Ruby Freeman and Shaye Moss after he falsely claimed they’d tampered with 2020 election ballots in a bid to rig the result against Trump.
