Antiques Road Trip experts Ishy and Catherine struggled in the auction house
fans were left up in arms after spotting one major error on the teatime show.
During Wednesday’s instalment (November 27) of the show, experts Chatherine Southon and Ishy Khan battled it out to find the most valuable treasures within their £200 budget.
Then the pair will take their findings to resell at auction in a bid to raise the most money for Children in Need. This week, the pair hit the road in style, cruising through the picturesque countryside in Gloucestershire in their iconic white Toyota throughout the series.
After shopping for goods, Ishy spent all of his £200 budget on a pearl and diamond stick pin £40, a collection of marbles £20, a trinket box £30, a pair of silver duck rings £40, and a cupid seal for £70.
Meanwhile, Catherine spent only £185 of her £200 budget which included a gold sunburst clock £40, an African carved wooden sculpture £60, a collection of lobster pickers £35, a pair of Asian candlesticks £25, and a lizard box £25.

The pair only had one item which sold over £100
The pair then travelled up to Stourbridge at the Halls Auction House which was supported with the help of Fieldings Auctioneers, an auction house the show has visited several times throughout the show.
But the dynamic duo had a difficult time getting any of their items to take off with buyers, with only one item ranking in more than £100 on the day.
After house costs, Catherine made a loss of £97, meanwhile Ishy managed to make an impressive profit of £33.20 after the auction houses fees were deducted, giving him a three-nil win to the 33-year-old auctioneer in the five-part series.
It didn’t take long before fans flooded to X – formerly known as Twitter – to share their complaints online. One user fumed: “#AntiquesRoadTrip They need to change the auction house! It’s appalling that Ishy and Catherine’s purchases are truly bombing.
“Find an auction house with a wider… and international audience. Go for the bigger ones rather than these minor players!!! [two prayer emojis].” Another agreed: “It’s getting boring now, same auction house, same results #antiquesroadtrip.”
A third agreed: “Wow this auction place is dead this week, seriously what does it take to get a decent profit? Those pieces were not rubbish, just lame auctioneering! #antiquesroadtrip.”
A fourth echoed: “#antiquesroadtrip Like many others, what is the point of having an empty auction room with obviously scripted bids of £10. Why not film at a full auction room and have REAL bidders?”
Antiques Road Trip airs on weekdays from 4.30pm on One or catch up on iPlayer.
