Swift, 34, became the first musical artist to sell out the venue six times on the same tour when she played the ballpark Nov. 14-16 and Nov. 21-23.
Swift also tipped her hat to opening act Gracie Abrams, who joined her for a mashup of their Grammy-nominated song us and a rendition of her track Out of the Woods at show No. 3 last Saturday night.
“I just adore her. She’s been giving the most amazing performances every night on this tour!!!” Swift wrote.
The 14-time Grammy winner also addressed the impending end of the Eras Tour next month in Vancouver.
“The emotions have gotten pretty heightened for me and the rest of the team because it’s gotten extremely real for us: Our next city will be the last one of The Eras Tour, and the closing of the most extraordinary chapter of my life so far,” she concluded. “We can’t wait to give you all we’ve got for three more shows.”
The Eras Tour began in March 2023 and became a global phenomenon as Swift took her career-spanning concert worldwide.
After playing Australia, parts of Asia, Europe, the U.S. and Canada this year, it’s expected that Swift’s Eras Tour will earn another billion dollars in 2024.
During her final Toronto appearance last Saturday night, Swift told the sold-out Rogers Centre crowd that the Eras Tour has been the most fun she’s had on the road in her nearly 20-years as a singer-songwriter.
Tears filled her eyes as she thanked the team that has been with her since the tour started 21 months ago in Arizona.
“To my band and to my crew and everybody who has put so much into this tour … and I don’t even know what I’m saying, I’m just having a bit of a moment, sorry,” she said to the jam-packed stadium.
“It’s not even the last show!” Swift said, wiping away tears, before continuing. “My band, my crew, all of my fellow performers, we have put so much of our lives into this. And you’ve put so much of your lives into being with us tonight and to giving us that moment that we will never forget. We’ve loved our time in Toronto. It’s been so amazing … I love you guys. Thanks so much for that.”
Swift ends the Eras Tour with just three more shows, which are scheduled to take place in Vancouver on Dec. 6, 7 and 8.
