Footage from the war in has shown the moment a Ukrainian tank strikes troops

Shared on social media by the Defence of X account, the footage shows a Ukrainian tank firing a shell at Russian positions in a rural area.

The tank inflicts a number of big explosions on Russian positions as Moscow’s troops lurked behind a treeline.

The Defence of account added: “A tank in service with the Rubizh Brigade is destroying Russian treeline positions in the Kupiansk direction.”

This comes after lost 1,610 men in one day on November 24, as per Ukrainian Defence Ministry figures.
