On November 8, it was disclosed that three individuals have been charged in relation to Liam’s death, reports .

Witnesses and a police report have alleged that the hotel was aware of Liam’s threats to use the balcony as an escape route, yet left him unattended.

TMZ sources suggest that the singer had a phobia of being trapped in hotel rooms, a response originating from his One Direction days.

On the day he died, hotel CCTV footage showed Liam causing a commotion in the lobby before hotel staff stepped in.

Witnesses stated that the father-of-one resisted, informing staff he didn’t want to stay in the room and even threatened to use the balcony to escape if confined.

Hotel staff reportedly used a master key to confine Liam in his room. However, mere minutes later, a hotel employee dialled 911, noting the singer was in a room with a balcony and expressing concern that he might try to escape.

“I don’t know whether his life may be in danger. He is in a room with a balcony, and, well, we’re a little afraid,” revealed the hotel worker during the call, as per the transcript.

Subsequently, when Liam was left unsupervised in the room by the hotel personnel, he seemingly attempted an escape using the balcony, which resulted in the heartbreaking accident.
