The 2024 tennis season has officially come to an end and it’s time to have your say on the best players and moments of the year.
Some players have dominated like , who rose to No. 1 after winning two Grand Slams and six other titles and helping Italy defend their Davis Cup title.
has also cemented herself as the one to beat on hard courts, winning the Australian Open and US Open and ending the season atop the rankings.
, and Barbora Krejcikova also won Majors this year. Meanwhile new faces emerged at the top.

Taylor Fritz and Jasmine Paolini end the season at career-highs of No. 4. Both reached their first Major finals in 2024.
Paolini went back-to-back in championship matches at the French Open and . She also helped Italy win the Billie Jean King Cup and had doubles success with Sara Errani, winning Olympic gold.
There were other big stories at the Olympic Games. finally got his hands on a gold medal at the age of 37, winning just weeks after having knee surgery. And Qinwen Zheng helped China get their first gold medal in singles.
It was also a great year for the Brits. rose to No. 15 in the world after winning his first two tour titles and reaching the US Open semi-final.
Meanwhile, made a successful return from an eight-month injury layoff. After starting the year at No. 301, she finishes it inside the top 60, highlighted by deep runs in Nottingham, Washington and .

They aren’t the only players to enjoy a rise. Lorenzo Musetti won Olympic bronze and reached the semi-final while Alex de Minaur broke into the top 10 and maintained his place at the top despite missing several tournaments with a hip injury.
Diana Shnaider was outside of the top 100 in January but ends the season at No. 13 after winning her four titles across all three surfaces. Paula Badosa is the year-end No. 12, a remarkable rise given that doctors told her to quit the sport in March.
But she rediscovered her best form and won in Washington. The Spaniard isn’t the only injured player to lift a title this year. Matteo Berrettini, Denis Shapovalov and Marin Cilic also lifted trophies after long layoffs, with Berrettini playing a crucial role in Italy’s Davis Cup title defence.
And Karolina Muchova missed the first half of the season, returning in June, but she picked up where she left off – reaching the US Open semi-final and finishing runner-up in Beijing and Palermo.
