ITV I’m A Celebrity ‘feud’ exposed as body language expert spots three glaring clues

A body language expert has shared their thoughts on what Ant McPartlin thinks of Dean McCullough on I’m A Celebrity…Get Me Out Of Here!

Fans of the ITV jungle show believe they have spotted signs that Ant isn’t a fan of Dean. Their paths have crossed multiple times in this series, as Dean has been voted for nearly every Bushtucker trial.

A particularly tense exchange happened last night when Ant confessed he wouldn’t be following Dean on social media. The radio DJ was seemingly offended, but Ant insisted that he was joking.

Body language expert Inbaal Hongiman has now analysed the scenes and has picked up on some clear clues that Ant has a ‘distaste’ for Dean that he can’t hide.

She explained whilst speaking on behalf of “As Dean disembarks from his successful bushtucker trial, at first glance it seems that Ant’s distaste towards him has become more pronounced.

“Both Ant and Dec applaud the DJ as he approaches, but Ant’s claps are slower and carry on longer, giving the insulting effect of a ‘slow clap’ which expresses displeasure.”

She added: “Just in case Dean didn’t pick up on that, Ant performs another little ‘slow clap’, and then folds his arms.

“The arm folding is a protective gesture, effectively ‘closing off’ the presenter, showing that he doesn’t want to deal with Dean at all.”

Ant, though, finds ways to put his frustration behind him, according to the expert.

She stated: “However, that animosity is momentary, and immediately after, Ant is his jovial self again with Dean, lowering his arms and even lacing them behind his back to create a more approachable body language.

“It would appear that Ant is playful in his ribbing of the Radio 1 star, and he views Dean as entertaining, not annoying.”
