State Pensioners have just weeks left to claim a £300 Winter Fuel Payment
State pensioners across the UK have been issued a December deadline warning to get a £300 .
Around 1.3 million households will start to receive the winter payment from this week, but the Government has warned that thousands of pensioners are missing out.

The is warning that the deadline to apply for Pension Credit, and in turn qualify for the , is fast approaching, and pensioners must submit their claim by December 21, 2024.
Pension Credit is worth up to £3,900 on average per year and grants access to a range of other important benefits, including housing costs, Council Tax reductions, a free TV licence and NHS treatment costs.
The Pension Credit standard minimum guarantee will soon be worth £227.10 per week for a single person and £346.60 for couples, when benefits are uprated in April.
You must live in England, Scotland or Wales and have reached age to qualify for Pension Credit. Claims can be backdated by three months.
You must apply for Pension Credit by December 21, 2024 to qualify for a 2024 to 2025 , or Winter Heating Payment if you live in Scotland.
