All about Ariana Grande’s grandmother, Marjorie Grande

Ariana Grande and her grandmother, Marjorie Grande, had a sweet time together watching her new movie “Wicked.”

On her Instagram story, Ariana Grande shared two photos of her and her 99-year-old grandmother watching the movie musical together in a Florida movie theater.

In one snap, Ariana Grande leans over to be closer to her nonna. Ariana Grande’s brother, Frankie Grande, looks on with a smile.

Over the picture, Ariana Grande wrote, “Flew to boca for a day to watch with Nonna at the movie theater i grew up going to every weekend, Cinemark 20 in Boca.”Then, in another snap, Ariana Grande and her family look at the movie screen together.

The “Eternal Sunshine” singer said that her grandmother was especially taken by a tiny moment from the film.

“Thrilled to report that when the sugar glider had her drum solo nonna exclaimed loudly “oh i LOVE that,” she wrote over the pic.

“Wicked” hit theaters on Nov. 22, and according to CNBC, the film broke a record on its opening weekend when it opened with an estimated $114 million at the domestic box office, making it the highest cinematic opening for a Broadway adaptation.

Marjorie is nearly 100 years old

In October, Ariana Grande and her family celebrated Marjorie Grande’s 99th birthday.

On Instagram, Frankie Grande, shared a beautiful snap of him, his sister, their mom, Joan Grande, who is also Marjorie Grande’s daughter, and his husband, Hale Leon, taking a picture with the birthday girl. Frankie and Ariana Grande each hold up pink balloons of the number 9.

“Happy 99th birthday to the Queen… NONNA! 🎈 9️⃣9️⃣🎉,” he wrote. “I love you so much and I couldn’t feel more blessed to celebrate this unbelievable milestone with you and our beautiful family. 💖 Wow. Happy happy happy Birthday! 🎂I love you with all of my heart! 🥳🥰.”

Ariana Grande has brought her grandmother as a red carpet date

Ariana Grande took her grandmother as her date to the VMAs in 2014. On the red carpet, the duo were photographed hugging one another and smiling from ear to ear. The two wore matching black-and-white outfits.

Since then, Marjorie Grande has joined the “Positions” singer for a slew of other events, such as the 2015 American Music Awards and the 2016 Time 100 Gala.

Marjorie has a tattoo

Marjorie got her first tattoo at 93 years old. On her Instagram Stories, Ariana Grande shared a picture of Marjorie’s fresh new ink on her hand.
