released his tell-all memoir in January 2023, which followed his and his wife, ‘s eviction from Frogmore Cottage in Windsor.
And it was most likely the Duke of Sussex’s remarks about his King’s wife, Queen Camilla, contributed a major role in the decision as he referred to her more than 60 times in his memoir.
He labelled Camilla as “the Other Woman” and his “wicked stepmother”, which reportedly was the comment that affected his father.
A royal insider claimed that at the time, the King took immediate action after he was passed a collection of documents, including findings with details from Spare.

The source told the Mirror: “It was the last straw. Harry was well aware how Camilla would be a red line for his father and he crossed with flagrant disregard anyway. The King felt without a doubt it crossed a line – it was the ultimate act of disrespect.”
The memoir also revealed that Harry and his brother, pleaded with their father not to marry Camilla back in 2005.
“Despite Willy and me urging him not to, Pa was going ahead. We pumped his hand, wished him well. No hard feelings,” Harry shared in his book, adding “we recognized that he was finally going to be with the woman he loved, the woman he’d always loved.”
