More than 27,000 Daily Express readers are demanding a fresh , with some angrily accusing of ‘lies’ and claimed Prime Minister Sir “lacks moral fibre’.

The Express launched its own poll on the topic, which has garnered 27,837 responses – 97% of which said Sir should call another General Election.
Just 3% – or 683 respondents – said the Prime Minister should honour the election result that saw him enter Downing Street.
A further 90 said they did not know.

The two million people who have signed the petition – which has shared with his 205 million followers on X – say they believe the current Labour Government has broken the promises it made in the lead-up to the last election.
This dissatisfaction was reflected in the anger shown in the Express comments section.

Devires wrote: “Yes of course we should have another General Election. The four main MPs have all been caught out with grossly misleading the voters. Starmer, Reeves, and should immediately be voted out with a vote of no confidence.”

“Only people living in reality knew what Labour were going to do. It’s disgusting and the must get back in ASAP to reverse all of this nightmare and return the UK back to where it was.

However, not everyone agreed. Maltyloofa commented: “All these people pushing for another General Election because they don’t like the outcome of the last one, were the same people who didn’t want another vote on .
“I voted for and I voted Reform, but I understand a vote is a vote. It’s just disturbing watching them destroy farming, killing off pensioners and wrecking small businesses because it looks like a vindictive attack on the main people who didn’t vote for them.
“The people who voted for this lot are the first to scream about Trump and the things he ‘could’ do, but these are much worse. At least Trump will put the Americans first and not put everyone else first on the list for payouts.”
