TV favourite Kelly left viewers gobsmacked as she accidentally let slip an expletive on her hit chat show. On Monday’s vibrant episode, the Scottish presenter was right back in the thick of it, serving up all the latest buzz when one particular segment snatched the limelight.
Sharing the sofa with star Nicola Wheeler, they chewed over her character’s dramatic twists and turns. But the chit-chat veered off into the trials of shooting in the great outdoors, reports .
Nicola quipped: “There are long horrible cold days when you are out in the village all day and it’s raining and windy so you’ve got to have that sense of humour with each other because words take up a lot of your life so if you’re not having fun it makes life miserable so our aim is to have fun.”
Recalling her own romp through the set, Lorraine reminisced: “I do remember being there when we did the show live from and the last time we did it the school pack was lovely and cosy with lots of fire.”
Yet the air turned blue when Lorraine’s language momentarily strayed off-course, as she blurted out: “But we have been outside and it was boll******.”
Lorraine Kelly apologised for the error
The room erupted with laughter as Nicola jumped in: “The village is like a wind tunnel because there can be a mild breeze around the village but down that main street it’s like blowing a gale every time and I’m always taken where my hair is blowing in the wind.”
Lorraine soon offered an apology for her slip-up, stating: “Now earlier on when I was talking to Nicola I said a bad word and I didn’t know it was a bad word because in Scotland we say that word all the time.”
“I want to say it again but I can’t, I said a word for cold, which you all know but anyway,” she continued.
