Richard Coles made a controversial confession
star Gillian McKeith issued a warning to Richard Coles following his controversial confession about throwing away food.
When Richard, 62, arrived in camp with Maura Higgins, the duo were sent straight to the junkyard and given a series of secret missions to win food for a buffet.
They lived a life of luxury while in the jungle junkyard, which featured a luxurious double bed, a hidden large sofa, and a bathtub with hot water.
They were also treated to a hidden gas cooker as well as a fridge, stocked with smoothies and a fruit platter. Despite living in good conditions, their mission was to convince their fellow campmates that they were living in hell.
A bushtucker trial was another opportunity for the duo to continue the charade, as they had to convince Danny Jones and Dean McCullough that they had already taken part in The Deadly Department Store to try and win 2 stars for their dinner, but failed.

Their performance was convincing enough, as main camp sent them a portion of their dinner.
But as they were treated to their own dinner alongside a portion of their campmates, Richard confessed that they had to throw away food as they had so much.
Gillian, 65, who appeared on I’m A Celebrity in 2010 and the All Stars series last year, has been watching the show and shared her take on the campmates.
In her column for Express.co.uk, Gillian appeared concerned about how the celebrities would react if they discovered Richard got rid of precious food.
She said: “Maura saying, ‘Shall we just treat our food as the starter and their food as the main course’. She has the best sense of humour.

Richard admitted to throwing away food while in the junkyard
“The vicar Richard even admitted to throwing food away because Maura and him could not eat it all. This will not sit well with main camp camp-mates if they ever find out that precious food has been discarded because the junkyard mates are stuffed to the gills.”
However, Gillian heaped praise on the new arrivals as she declared: “The best comedy duo since well…. Ant and Dec. Two new fabulous campmates have stormed into jungle town.
“This pairing is pure Jungle Jackpot, starting off in the Jungle Junkyard and now in main camp. Their comedic dynamic is second to none, so the rest of the camp had better brace themselves.”
The Scottish TV personality added: “This duo is definitely here to entertain and attempt to survive all the way. Whoever put them together needs a promotion.
