Campmate Coleen Rooney dished out an intriguing anecdote about the time she encountered then president-elect , during a heart-to-heart on ” over the weekend.
The 38 year old, currently gracing our screens on the latest series of the , has been opening up about her fascinating life tales from within the Australian jungle. In Sunday’s episode, she looked back at her stint in the United States.
Coleen, together with her hubby retired football ace Wayne Rooney, now 39, and their brood spent a slice of life in Washington, D.C., from 2018 to 2019. During this period, Wayne laced his boots for D.C. United, reports .
It was back in December 2018, amidst festive buzz, that Coleen and Wayne, who later took the reins at D.C.
United as manager, were honoured guests at a White House Christmas bash. With their sons Kai, Klay, Kit, and Cass in tow, the Rooneys revelled in the yuletide spirit at the iconic venue.

Revisiting this star-studded experience while chatting with fellow ” contestants, Coleen shared: “When we lived in America, we were invited to the White House for and we went in to meet… So it was [who was President].”
Elaborating further, she recounted: “So we walked in and we got to get like y’know the official photograph taken in front of the Christmas tree and stuff.
“So said to his son ‘see? Told ya, all the soccer players get the good looking girls’. And I told my mum – I was like ‘dirty b*****d’.”

Coleen went on to suggest that Trump, who is now 78, had “wanted Wayne to go over to like teach his son … like play football with his son.”
It was reported six years ago, during Coleen and her husband’s visit to the White House, that Barron Trump, the son of Trump and his wife , now 18, was a fan of footballer Wayne and the sport.
During a conversation on I’m A Celebrity this week, fellow contestant and McFly band member Danny Jones asked Coleen about her encounter with the politician: “Is he that orange? ” To which Coleen responded moments later: “He was very orange! “
