A huge fin was spotted just off the coast of , swimming in .
The fin was caught on video and sparked fears a killer whale could be lurking off the coast.
Footage filmed by Bluefin Charters, which operates from St Ives, shows the dark fin cutting through the water behind what appears to be a pod of dolphins, reports .
In the clip, seen above the water before the creature swims deeper into the waters.
Someone in the clip can be heard saying: “There it is look, that’s a shark mate.”
Commenters on social media began to speculate about what type of shark could have been caught in the clip.

The Cornwall coast is one of the most popular places for Brits to take a staycation.
One suggested it may have been a hammerhead dorsal while others said it could have been an orca.
David Bastian wrote: “Look how big the fin is compared to the dolphins in front! Has to be a killer whale!” And Rob Batten agreed, adding: “Looks like an orca fin for sure.”
Charles Anderson-Smith said: “Looks like an .” Rhys Hunt commented: “What the hell is that? Looks like an orca fin!”

Dolphins have also been spotted off the coast of Cornwall.
Social media users said the fin looked huge and that its size suggested those out on the water may need a bigger boat.
Other responses identified the creature as a much more likely gentle mammal, most probably a fin whale, which is known to frequent .
It’s not unusual for sea creatures like sharks and dolphins to be spotted off the coast of Cornwall, but this sighting has caught people’s attention due to the large size of the fin.
