The top 10 Christmas books revealed – The Snowman only at number 9

These are among the best ever released – the popular titles never fail to get people into the Christmas spirit and have become timeless classics.

The festive novels are household names and crop up every year, and readers love to revisit these tales.

Books such as How the Grinch Stole , which has been adapted for the screen, have become a crucial part of the festive season for many.

As a lifelong book lover, and after studying English Literature at University, this is my list of the most iconic 10 Christmas books of all time.

10. Stick Man by Julia Donaldson

Julia Donaldson is one of the UK’s best selling authors and her tale Stick Man has become a classic among children.

Stick Man lives in the family tree with his Stick Lady Love and their stick children – the book follows his journey back to the family tree after he becomes separated from them. He is granted a Christmas gift and returns to his family.
