has batted off questions about his future after wrapping up his fourth consecutive Drivers’ Championship title, insisting “there’s definitely nothing on my mind” except for celebrating.
The Dutchman finished one position higher than title rival at the Las Vegas Grand Prix, ensuring that he holds a 63-point buffer over the Brit heading into the penultimate race in Qatar.
In a post-race interview with Sky Sports F1, Verstappen was asked whether or not his latest title triumph cements as the place to be for him moving forward. He was linked with Aston Martin and earlier this summer during his team’s mid-season slump.
