Coleen Rooney sent a touching message to her sons before she took on the latest I’m A Celebrity jungle challenge.
She was voted by viewers to take on the next Bushtucker trial in tandem with Dean McCullough. The Radio 1 presenter, who has participated in numerous trials, received an uplifting boost from his fellow campmate, dubbed Wagatha Christie.
Wayne Rooney, Coleen’s husband, had earlier rallied his social media followers to vote for her in the upcoming challenge, eager to see her in action. He expressed his confidence that Coleen would seek to test her limits and make the family watching from home proud.
Bracing herself at the trial site for Absolute Carnage, Coleen beamed a heartfelt message home: “I’m excited for my boys back home to see me do something. Hopefully I’m gonna do well, I’m gonna try my best.”
In the trial, one celebrity would find themselves locked in the back of the ute amidst all the stars, secured with a variety of fastenings requiring specific tools to release. The fellow celeb was tasked with ferreting out these tools from a garage setting and delivering them to their partner trapped in the ute.

Dean took on the task of hunting for tools, leaving Coleen in the back of the ute. She had to put up with cockroaches, crickets, giant mealworms and rats crawling all over her, reports .
Meanwhile, Dean was confronted with a challenge that had previously defeated him… fish guts.
Ant and Dec praised Coleen’s performance, saying: “You were very calm, very quiet, you just got on with it.”

To which Coleen responded: “”Yeah that is my way of coping, silence, the silent treatment.”
Earlier in the episode, Coleen shared more personal stories as she recounted the time she met President-elect when her husband Wayne was managing D.C. United in Washington.She recalled: “When we lived in America, we were invited to the White House for Christmas, and we went in to meet .
“And we walked in and we got to get the official photograph taken in front of the Christmas tree. So said to my son ‘see? Told ya, all the soccer players get the good looking girls. And I told my mum, I was like ‘dirty b******’.”
Wayne made an appearance on I’m A Celebrity Unpacked on Saturday (November 23) to show his support for his wife. The current Plymouth manager also hinted at having a new poem ready for her upon her return after Coleen revealed to viewers the former striker’s love for poetry.
