Helen Lederer, 70, Jennifer Saunders, 66, and Joanna Lumley, 78, were last seen on screen together back in 2016 for Absolutely Fabulous: The Movie.
On her relationship with her co-stars, the comedian said they hadn’t seen each other for a while, but insisted they were still very much friends and hoped for a reunion.
Ahead of her debut at Proud Embankment’s Cabaret show back in 2022, she said: “We don’t mix that often. I don’t think there’s a reason, but they’re amazing and I adore them, they are amazing individuals.
“Joanna does so many different things, I’m always seeing her doing a new thing, whatever her age is. She’s such a great role model.”

Absolutely Fabulous writer and actress Jennifer recently said her sitcom would no longer work in modern culture “because everything is sensitive”
“I think we would probably talk ourselves out of most of it now,” she told The Sun.
“It would be like, ‘We won’t have a good answer so let’s not do that’.”
The hit show originally ran between 1992 and 1996, before it was revived in 2001 for three more years.

Absolutely Fabulous: The Movie was released in 2016.
Despite Jennifer’s comments, Helen, who played Catriona, said she doesn’t believe the show has had its day just yet.
She spilled: “If Jennifer decides to write another one, I’m standing by.
“They did such a good job with the film because it was different and it stood up to scrutiny.

“It had its own qualities to it, it could sustain scrutiny. It was still funny and a glorious celebration and it went quite dark.”
The actress added of Jennifer’s approach to the film: “She’s not a complacent writer.
It was brilliant that it was so well received.”
On creating new episodes, Helen went on to say: “I never think anything has had its day.”
She added if there were “signs” to do it and the cast were up for it, then it’s “worth a go”.
