Hamza Yassin won Strictly Come Dancing in 2022
champion and presenter Hamza Yassin has shared his hopes for the future, including dreams of starting a family.
But the wildlife cameraman also shared a worry about how his busy career makes it hard to find a partner. Despite his success on Strictly, where he won the Glitterball Trophy alongside dance partner Jowita Przystal, the 33-year-old admitted: “I am 100 percent broody. I’m broody in a nice way in that I would love to have a family one day.”
He continued: “It’s in the natural world. A silverback gorilla is a silverback because he wants to be the head of the family because he gets the pleasure of having offspring.
“I am too busy to be perfectly honest. I have loved a few people in my lifetime, some people agreed, some people didn’t but that’s part of life.

“I am hoping one day that I’ll find somebody and settle down with little mini Hamzas.”
Hamza also confessed that posing for photos with fans and their babies had made him feel broody,
In previous interviews, Hamza opened up about the challenges of his love life. Speaking to The Times, he reflected: “Strictly probably made me less confident with girls, if anything, because people know who I am.”

He added: “I’m not worried, and good luck to whoever she is. I’m such an old man now – I’m so set in my ways.”
In 2022, Hamza confirmed to The Guardian that he was single, explaining that his work commitments often make relationships difficult. “My job doesn’t really allow for a relationship. How can you sustain a relationship, like: ‘I’m sending you a text message from a satellite phone because I’m in the Arctic for two months.’
“It’s more of a job kind of problem, rather than a place, though the place definitely adds to it,” he concluded.
At the time, he confirmed he was not using any dating apps, quipping that he’d have to set a 150-mile radius to find someone.
