Princess Kate to host families and survivors of Southport tragedy at her Christmas concert

Princess Kate will be hosting her next month after what has been a difficult year for her following

The concert, named Together At Christmas, will be held in Westminster Abbey on December 8, with around 1,600 people expected to fill Westminster Abbey.

, among the guests expected to attend this year’s event are the child survivors of the Southport stabbing horror that took place in July this year at a Taylor Swift themed dance class.

The princess with her husband , 42, last month, and also spent time with the families of the three girls killed in the attack – Elsie Dot Stancombe, seven, Alice Da Silva Aguiar, nine, and Bebe King, six.

“The King met the survivors, then Kate took time out to meet them in private last month with .

“Now she has personally ensured everyone is invited to her concert which, this year, will mean more to her than ever before.

“It promises to be an incredible, life-affirming night and there’s been a lot of organisation involved to get it all ready.”

According to The Sun, each of the families will be welcomed to London for three days, with transport and accommodation provided by Southport Stronger Together, a charity set up in the wake of the attack to help the children and parents impacted.
