Maura appeared with Melvin’s name
Sharp-eyed fans of the hit ITV reality show I’m A Celebrity… Get Me Out Of Here! were quick to point out several gaffes during the latest episode.
The series faced some heat from viewers who called out blunders made by the production crew.
Multiple times throughout the episode, celebrities entered the Bush Telegraph to chat with viewers, but the graphics erroneously displayed the wrong names. In a glaring error, Love Island’s Maura Higgins was on screen while titles meant for Melvin Odoom, a well-known TV host and disc jockey, rolled beside her.
Another blooper saw McFly’s Danny Jones mistakenly labelled as Radio 1’s Dean McCullough.
Social media users didn’t let these slip-ups slide, taking to Twitter to roast the mistakes. One viewer quipped: “The editing team tonight need to be fired. they’ve mixed up campmates names several times. #imacelebrity #ImACeleb”.

Another pointed out: “Issues with names tonight Danny was Dean and Maura was Melvin #ImACeleb #imaceleb2024,” and another fan commented: “What’s happening with the names today??? Danny was in the telegraph apparently it was Dean and Maura was Melvin. @imacelebrity #ImACeleb #imaceleb2024”.
With a side-by-side comparison of the mislabelled stars, one viewer joked: “The names are cracking me up. Dean and Melvin look different! @imacelebrity @antanddec #ImACeleb”.
During the latest episodeof the show, fans were on edge over fears that Dean McCullough might accidentally reveal a crucial secret within the jungle camp.
Earlier in the week, Love Island’s Maura Higgins and Reverend Richard Coles made an entrance into the separate Jungle Junkyard area, where they appeared to be roughing it without any comforts, including beds.
Contrary to appearances, however, they were actually enjoying a range of luxuries and were tasked with convincing the rest of the camp otherwise.
The anxiety spiked after Dean joined Maura and Richard following the most recent Bushtucker Trial, leading fans to speculate if he would spill the beans.
On social media platform X, viewers expressed their concerns, with comments like: “Dean will ruin the junkyard lie and ruin it for everyone, i fear. He couldn’t keep the teabags a secret when Tulisa/Melvin had salt and no one knew until she gave it up #imaceleb.”
Others were less forgiving, with remarks such as: “I’m sorry I really wanted to like Dean being a local celeb and all but the man is a disaster and a liability to the camp #ImACeleb.”

Meanwhile, another watcher predicted trouble, stating: “Dean is going to expose the whole secret mission I fear #imaceleb #imacelebrity.”
And yet another fan shared their worry, commenting: “How long then before Dean blabs to everyone when they are all in the trial area, and ruins the hard work Richard and Maura have put into this secret mission #ImACeleb.”
