Retirement

Speculations about the young champion’s retirement have been fuelled following his revelation on the Podpah podcast: “I love what I do, but I’ve already achieved what I wanted to achieve personally.”

Despite being on track for further glory, Verstappen has hinted at an early exit, potentially hanging up his helmet in his early thirties. This aligns with thoughts that he might bolt after his current contract ends in 2028.

The star, however, keeps fans guessing about his future, stating, “I don’t know yet what I will do after 2028. But what I can say is that my next step, if there is one, will be my last in Formula One.”
