Emmerdale’s Vinny star announces birth of adorable baby son and confirms name

Emmerdale star Bradley Johnson has welcomed a baby boy with his partner Sammie – and confirmed his adorable name.

Taking to to share the sweet update, Bradley wrote: “Albie Jake Johnson. You are absolutely everything.”

His soap co-stars soon chimed in to congratulate the Vinny Dingle actor on his new arrival, with Natalie Ann Jamieson – who plays Amy Wyatt – writing: “Ohhhh my gooooodness! Congratulations guys! Absolutely gorgeous.”

Michelle Hardwick, best known for playing Vanessa Woodfield, wrote: “Ahhh congratulations to you all.”

As Victoria Sugden star Isabel Hodgins echoed: “He is delicious. Sending my love to all three of you. Congrats.”

Will Taylor star Dean Andrews posted: “Massive congrats to you both. Absolute beauty.” While Amelia Spencer actress Daisy Campbell wrote: “Congrats Brad!”

Bradley shared the news that he was expecting a baby with Sammie back in June 2024, sharing a snap of a heart-shaped cake surrounded by ultrasound images. He wrote: “Baby coming December 2024.”

However, it appears baby Albie arrived a little earlier than first expected.

Bradley is currently engaged to his fiancée Sammie Johnstone, and have been together since August 2021.

Bradley paid a sweet tribute to Sammie on their one-year anniversary, writing: “1 year with my soulmate!! How time flies. We have done so much together! Here is to many more!! Love you @sammiejojo92.”

He proposed to Sammie while the couple were on holiday in Rome. While the pair posed outside the Colosseum, Brad shared the caption: “When in Rome…” with an engagement ring emoji.
