Winter Wonderland is back.

The popular event, which takes place in Hyde Park, is known for its attractions and festive atmosphere, but this year some visitors have voiced concerns about rising costs.
At the Texas Smoker food stall, a single portion of fries costs £16, with the chilli cheese fries – topped with beef brisket chilli, cheese, and chipotle sauce – priced at £18.
And, the hefty price tag has sparked disbelief among some visitors. The stall, which features a 1946 Chevy fire truck as its centrepiece, promotes itself as an “original grill house” and offers large, American-style portions.

For example, halloumi fries can be found at other stalls for as little as £4.50. Many of the food stalls also offer a variety of cuisines, catering to different tastes and budgets.
Winter Wonderland, running for six weeks from November 21 to January 5, features a range of attractions including the Magical Ice Kingdom, a Giant Ferris Wheel, and the Bavarian Village.
Visitors can explore the market stalls, enjoy festive rides, or relax in themed bars. However, the cost of food and drink has become a sticking point for some.
On social media, several visitors expressed their frustration, with some describing the event as overpriced.
Others shared tips, such as bringing their own food to save money.

One returning visitor commented on TripAdvisor: “It’s always a great experience, but the costs are just too high.”
Another person wrote: “Second time here, we travelled from Germany to London. It’s always great, but we paid too much, same thing.”
A third added: “Rip off! Overpriced won’t ever go again and don’t bother paying for fast track it takes as long. Should not be allowed what the costs are.”
Others, however, loved it. One person wrote: “A must every Christmas. Not really a ride person but I think it’s somewhere you should definitely go with friends and family.”
Another added: “Good way to spend a few hours to help get you in the Christmas mood.”

Entry to Winter Wonderland is free during off-peak times, but entry at peak times and access to some activities require a paid-for ticket.
Visitors who spend an additional £25 per person on chargeable attractions, rides or games when booking their ticket are entitled to free admission.
