has consistently maintained its position as the leading chain in the UK, with a portfolio of 2,048 small convenience stores and 809 large branches.
In an exciting move for shoppers, the has announced a price cut on more than 200 products in its Express convenience stores.
It comes just in time for the countdown, with just over a week left of November. But there’s no need to rush, as the discounts aren’t going anywhere soon.
An impressive 222 ‘household essentials’, including branded and own-brand items, have been given an average of 10 percent.
Staples like milk, bread, pasta, and coffee have been discounted to help shoppers during one of the most expensive seasons of the year.

It comes less than one month after competitor Sainsbury’s expanded its Aldi Price Match scheme into its Local convenience stores, marking a first for major supermarkets.
Although Tesco pioneered such a scheme in its larger grocery stores, it has not yet rolled it out to the Express format. However, the grocery giant has made more than 2,800 price cuts in recent months.
Among the discounted items are a four-pint bottle of milk now priced at £1.45, down from £1.55, and a Tesco Toastie white thick loaf now costing 75p, a 10p reduction. The supermarket has also slashed 25p off its 300g chicken breast portions and a 200g jar of Tesco Gold instant coffee, retailing for £2.25.
Other essentials, like a six-pack of Warburton white sliced sandwich rolls, have benefitted from the reductions. They are now £1.20, down 10p. Cleaning products, including Domestos Original bleach 750ml, are now £1.19, down 11p.
