Executive Producer Maril Davis also ominously commented: “William has been through the wringer this season.”

William is unwittingly Jamie and Geneva Dunsany’s (Hannah James) lovechild – the product of blackmail forcing Jamie into a one-night scandal.

Though legally recognized as the son and heir of Ludovic Ransom, Eighth Earl of Ellesmere, who was Geneva’s husband, William’s upbringing has been under the care of Lord Grey from the tender age of six, his mother’s brother-in-law and appointed guardian.

The bombshell truth about his parentage remains a secret to William, gearing up fans for a fiery reveal.

“But this one in particular is an emotional rollercoaster, so I think people should prepare to be, kind of… wrung out.”
