Katie Piper has broken her silence after online trolls shared vile comments about her appearance. The panellist is a former model and has been open about her long recovery after an acid attack in 2009.
The activist responded to keyboard warriors who likened Tulisa’s appearance on to Katie Piper’s visual injuries after her attack.
One post read: “Can’t lie #tulisa going for that #katiepiper look! #ImACeleb,” which prompted Katie to address the cruel comment and reply with her own statement.
She typed: “Stop Judging People by Their Appearance. Making jokes, memes, or cruel comments about how someone looks isn’t funny—it’s harmful. You don’t know the full story behind someone’s appearance, their medical history, or the personal choices they’ve made.”
Katie added: “No one knows what Tulisa has or hasn’t done, and she doesn’t owe anyone an explanation. For those who think they’re “calling out” cosmetic procedures, consider this: the very culture of online scrutiny can push people to alter their appearance in the first place.

I’m A Celebrity’s Tulisa Contostavlos is one of the many people who suffer from face paralysis. An estimated 1 in 60 people will endure Bell’s Palsy at some point, with stress playing a significant role in this neurological disorder.
The former N-Dubz star and ex-judge on Simon Cowell’s The X-Factor, was catapulted into fame at just 22 years old. Although initially thrilled to be part of the show, she soon felt the pressure.
Tulisa lamented, “It got nasty… the mood changed towards me from the press and the public,” reflecting on her tough journey.
She later went public about her struggles in a television interview, confessing, “I do suffer from Bell’s palsy… it can cause facial paralysis, it can cause swelling. I think the first attack I had was after a serious horse-riding accident. I fractured my skull and it caused a lot of nerve damage”, reports .
