bombshell Maura Higgins has sparked concerned after completely fooling her gullible co-stars.
The Irish beauty made her debut during Thursday’s (Novemeber 21) episode of the ITV reality show alongside Reverend Richard Coles.
However, the newcomers were given a secret mission just following their entry into the Australian jungle as they were dropped into the Jungle Junkyard, a ramshackle camp devoid of furnishings – at least on first glance.
It was subsequently revealed it was actually luxurious beneath its grim exterior, with Maura and Richard being tasked to conceal the true quality of the camp from the other celebrities at main camp.
The pair put on a fine performance as they successfully deceived their co-stars, with Coleen Rooney referring to the camp as a “jail” whilst GK Barry expressed doubt if Maura “would last” in the jungle.

In the main camp, GK reflected on their fellow campmates in the Jungle Junkyard, saying “But do you know what, poor Maura and Richard. If they have to stay down there another night, Maura’s walking, 100% Maura’s walking.”
Little did they know, that former Love Island contestant Maura had slept like a baby, as she grinned and said: “I’d recommend sleeping with a priest!” Maura and Richard’s arrival as gone down a storm with viewers, with the pair being forced to share a double bed.
Many concluded that the late arrivals was the adrenaline shot needed for the otherwise uneventful series, which has seen Radio 1 DJ Dean McCullough been voted to take part in numerous Bushtucker Trials by the public.
