Storm Bert update as Met Office issues full list of 14 regions hit by snow, rain and wind

The Met Office has listed all regions of the UK affected by severe weather warnings this weekend as Storm Bert barrels towards Britain from the Atlantic.

At least 14 UK regions – and dozens of local authorities – are subject to a variety of weather alerts across Saturday and Sunday. These include a rare ‘Amber’ alert.

Storm Bert – the second named storm of the season – will also unleash heavy rain and winds as strong as 70mph. The for today (Thursday, November 21) and over the weekend. These yellow alerts – for snow, ice and rain – follow .
