Queen Camilla is ‘huge fan’ of Jeremy Clarkson – despite Meghan Markle rant

The star was forced to apologise after writing in his column for The Sun that he wanted the Duchess of Sussex “paraded naked through the streets” in a nod to a similar scene, fuming that he “hated” her.

The column received furious complaints to press regulator IPSO, and was eventually removed. Both Clarkson and The Sun apologised – but it seems Queen Camilla might not be too fussed.

Her son Tom Parker-Bowles has confessed that his mum is a big fan of Diddly Squat Farm, explaining to Saga magazine: “Mum’s a big fan of Clarksons’ Farm, which is bringing farming back into the spotlight. It’s a tough, 24-hour, thankless job that’s often profitless. How bizarre it’s taken someone like to point out things must change.”

He added: “ is a farming genius. I love Clarkson.” Tom has even been to Jeremy’s pub in the Cotswolds to offer his verdict.

Tom told Saga he doesn’t think has tuned in to Clarkson’s Farm, admitting: “I don’t think he has. My mother has. She loves it. She loves Jeremy. I think they’d make an interesting pairing, Jeremy and the King.”

Clarkson’s loathing of Meghan hasn’t been a secret over the years. From referring to her as a “silly little cable TV actress” to hinting she “may have been being a nuisance somehow” after passed away, Jeremy’s comments took a harsher turn in December 2022.

He wrote in his column that he was “dreaming of the day when she is made to parade naked through the streets of every town in Britain while crowds chant, ‘Shame!’ and throw lumps of excrement at her”, before admitting he hates her “on a cellular level”.

The Independent Press Standards Organisation received 25,000 complaints about the article, and eventually found the article was “humiliating and degrading towards the duchess”.

and Meghan accused Clarkson of “hate rhetoric” and said the article was spreading “dangerous conspiracy theories and misogyny”.
