Prince Edward makes major announcement as he plans solo foreign visit within weeks

In just a few weeks’ time, the is set to embark on a solo official visit to from December 17 to 18, just a few days before .The Duke’s visit coincides with the conclusion of the UK and Kuwait’s joint celebrations marking 125 years of official diplomatic relations and the preparations next year, to commemorate 250 years since the beginning of their trading ties.The British Embassy said that it will announce further details in due course.Ahead of the upcoming visit, H.E. Belinda Lewis, the UK Ambassador to the State of Kuwait, said: “I am thrilled that The Duke of Edinburgh will be visiting Kuwait next month. She said: “This visit is a testament to the long-standing and warm friendship between the United Kingdom and the State of Kuwait, and it will be a fantastic opportunity to celebrate and strengthen our enduring partnership.”
