Lorraine Kelly has a strict rule in place to ensure the show runs smoothly
has revealed she has a “no a*******s” policy that helps with the success of her 14-year show.
Reflecting on her programme, the 64-year-old said she considers the set to be her “comfort zone” with many of her crew members being by her side for a long time.
The popular presenter also mentioned her habit of ensuring her guests feel at ease before going live, emphasising the importance of calming pre-show nerves.
She explained: “I always try every morning to have a wee chat with everybody before they come on.
“I don’t go through the interview or anything, but I want to make sure that they’re alright, so that if I see someone struggling or they’re worried about something, or if they’re clearly very nervous, it’s good to talk to them beforehand.”
