ITV Loose Women star unveils why she finds watching I’m A Celebrity ‘so hard’

A Loose Women star has shared their reason for opting out of watching the I’m A Celebrity Get Me Out Of Here! on TV.

Olivia Attwood, who first found fame on Love Island in 2017, recently opened up about why she struggles to watch the popular ITV show each year. The star joined the line-up in 2022 but unfortunately had to drop out of the series at the last minute due to health issues.

Speaking to the former reality show contestant, 32, who is in a relationship with footballer Bradley Dack and runs a successful podcast, admitted she still feels like her journey in the jungle is “unfinished business.”

“I find it really hard to watch it. I’m keeping across it, but yeah, I find it hard to watch,” she confessed.

Reflecting on her early exit, Olivia said: “It was a sad situation. It’s a hard one because I love the show, that’s why I went on it, but it’s like unfinished business. So until I’ve got the time to go back and finish it, I feel like I just can’t look at it.”

After weeks of speculation, Olivia confirmed she would not be returning to the show this year.

Earlier this month, Olivia took to to write: “I wasn’t going to talk about anything jungle related because if I’m honest, the way things played out last year still makes my heart hurt… and brain.

“I have been avoiding , but the sheer volume of you messaging about the show, commenting and meeting you in person etc I feel like it’s wrong not to speak to you guys.

“I couldn’t commit to going back this year. It wasn’t the right time for me. There were many things that I had to weigh up, but ultimately the sheer intensity of my schedule doesn’t allow for that much time ‘out of the office’…

“I read all your messages about the show, your support and love I will never ever take for granted. One day I hope when the time is right. We can finish my jungle story for you guys and for myself…

“Now seems like a good time to let my hair down for a few days. I am bursting screaming crying at the seams to share with you the tele things I have coming.”
