Maura Higgins is making her debut on Thursday when she arrives as one of the two remaining campmates – and she’s already tipped to win the series.
The Love Island star will head into camp alongside Reverend Richard Coles. And now she’s above McFly’s Danny Jones as favourite to be crowned King or Queen of the Jungle 2024.
And while Loose Women panellist GK Barry may have spent much of her time in tears after a disastrous trial alongside radio host Dean McCullough, she’s in third place in the odds.
According to data from , Maura has a massive 29% chance of winning with Danny Jones following hot on her heels with a 17% chance and GK, real name Grace, has a 14% chance.

Maura Higgins is a late entry to I’m A Celebrity 2024
“Over the years, I’m A Celebrity and reality stars have been a perfect match, with Made in Chelsea’s Sam Thompson recently winning the jungle crown. Now, our Supercomputer suggests that a former Love Island star might be next in line,” said a spokesperson for FruitySlots.com.
“Maura Higgins, already a fan favorite from Love Island, is projected to go far this season. But with strong competition from McFly’s Danny Jones and sensation GK Barry, it’s no easy journey ahead. As the celebrities still face two more weeks of camp life and notorious Bushtucker Trials, the race is wide open. Only time will tell who has the resilience and determination to be crowned King or Queen of the Jungle this season.”
Meanwhile, Coleen Rooney may reportedly be the highest-paid star of the latest series but she appears in sixth position to win, after gripping the nation with her Wagatha Christie drama two years ago.
Strictly star Oti Mabuse and Loose Women panellist Jane Moore, meanwhile, could be set for early exits as they’re predicted to be the least likely stars to win the show.
First look at Maura Higgins on I’m A Celebrity
The Ant and Dec-fronted series kicked off on Sunday night and there’s already been plenty of drama with Radio 1 host Dean already uttering the infamous words “I’m a celebrity, get me out of here!” during his first trial which saw him encased in a sarcophagus as the hosts asked him Egyptian-themed questions.
Emotions have also been running high with the campmates opening up to each other including boxing legend Barry McGuigan breaking down as he discussed his daughter Danika’s death, Oti sharing details of her brother’s suicide and Coleen discussing the death of her younger sister.
There have also been plenty of lighter moments too including the campmates making up a song about the meagre bean and rice rations they’re being forced to eat as they fail to win all the stars on offer in the infamous Bushtucker trials.
