Queen Camilla’s nephew ditches traditional Christmas carols at charity event for new twist

In a festive twist, ‘s nephew has decided to go against the traditional norms and sign an American hip-hop artist as the headline act at an upcoming carol concert.The diary editor, Richard Eden, reports Sir Ben Elliot has signed up Philadelphia-born rapper, Eve, to perform at St James’s Church in Piccadilly.The rapper, who is known for her hits such as ‘Who’s That Girl?’ and ‘Let Me Blow Your Mind’, lives in London with her husband and former racing driver husband, Maximillion Cooper. The fundraiser will be in aid of the Quintessentially Foundation and its Firefly Project initiative, which supports young people affected by poverty. Sir Ben’s mother, Annabel Elliot, the Queen’s sister, set up the Quintessentially Foundation.This year, the event will also feature artists such as Emeli Sande and Jack Savoretti.
